Nature Explorers offers caregivers and children aged 18 months to 5 years a chance to connect with nature through inquiry-based and play-focused learning. Each class invites both kids and adults to embrace messiness and fun. Seasonal lessons revolve around themes like animal play, weather, festivals, the five senses, and outdoor careers (e.g., wildlife biologist, gardener), catering to children's needs to jump, spin, balance, run, climb, splash, dig, build, and imagine.
We make each class magical with storytelling, songs, and movement. Activities include making potions, tracking animals, learning how trees communicate, creating a mud kitchen, and becoming nature detectives.
Nature Explorers runs during Fall, Winter, and Spring. We are outdoors year-round, using shelter in inclement weather. For the best experience, we recommend enrolling in all three seasons.
The program is entirely outdoors for ages 18 months to 5 years.
